How It All Started

Andrea has been in love with nature and animals her entire life. Both have had a calming and healing effect on her. As a child growing up in Los Angeles, she felt a strong intuitive connection especially with animals.

She opened Andy Stone Designs, a successful Plantscape business based in Los Angeles. During the “Plantscape” years she rescued two lovely Dalmatians, Lily and Scarlet. Both dogs lived a long wonderful life.

While still living in Los Angeles, she rescued her beloved Boxer, Roxy, from LA Boxer Rescue. After a beautiful life of 14 years together, sadly Roxy passed away. Roxy was the love of her life.

Andrea desired to leave the hustle and bustle of the city and move to Palm Springs. She was drawn to the architecture, culture and lifestyle, not to mention the small-town vibe with so many animal lovers.

In 2013 she decided to follow her heart and her passion, spending time with animals on a full-time basis. Poochi Sitter At Your Service was born. Dogs and cats are her specialty, however she also has a unique client, a sweet 45 year-old desert tortoise.
